Tasty Tuesday | Week 3

January 31, 2011

Ok I’m late. I know. I’m sorry. Launching my new store AND getting a macro lens in one day had me all over the place. But in a totally awesome way! 😀

Fish Tacos are a favorite of my husband and moi. So pairing my new macro lens and the 3 main ingredients that I LOVE that go into fish tacos…that need to be there no matter what kind of shell you use, sauce base, fish or anything else. If these 3 things are missing – it’s fish taco fail. 😛

Your turn! What’s your Tasty?

[Linky will stay up until Wednesday night]

dum dums | life. right now. | a 365 project | six

January 31, 2011

Today I got my macro. Woot woot.

I shot bugs, worms, foliage, broken toy car, dirt, a slug…gosh what didn’t I shoot?

But these were my favorite shots of day one in macro land. Amazing, astounding, mind blowing…nope. But it’s sweet and it makes me happy.

I love the light in them. And who doesn’t love peach dum dums? :)

exported from lightroom sooc and lightly warmed in ps and a light curve pop. sized for web. i just didn’t want these processed- i love them as they were. :)

Introducing | the Olive Juice Shoppe

January 30, 2011

I decided to separate the action/preset part of my business with my photography part. It was a decision I had been hesitant to make but decided to go ahead and go for it. I am a sassy pants fresh mouth speak your mind lets have fun kinda gal and wanted a name that was fun. I Love You. Olive Juice. :)

This is my personal AND photography business blog. My Shoppe is completely separate.

Photography for me is a love. I love my images- the good, bad and oogly. Before I decided to become a photographer… I was a happy MWAC (mom with a camera) taking snapshots of her kids. Guess what? Still a happy MWAC taking snapshots of her kids. My pictures to me- ARE snapshots. Snapshots hold no negative feelings to me as a mom or photographer.

    Hi amy beth
Just poking around(I should be int he shower right now)

I love your discription, I am not a fake floor copy the headband ,edit the heck out of something so it’s too far from reality. I admire and appreciate everyone’s style but those are giving me clues to what I DONT want, how I want to express myself and what I want to say. Even when I remove a mark on skin, it’s taken some time to be ok with that. Thank you again for your feedback at RTS, It sent me in a good direction.
    Have a great day
